The hallmark of any good place to take kids is a loud environment to drown out any cries or meltdowns. Puckett's has live music seven nights a week and an array of childhood delicacies, from mac & cheese to fried food. The only mark against Puckett's is there can be a wait at times, so plan accordingly.

They offer pizza dough for the kiddos to play with, what more do we need to say? Desano is laid-back and full of communal picnic tables and plenty of TVs.
The margaritas are excellent, the service is fast and the atmosphere is bustling. All of the necessities when planning a night out with kids.

Unbuttoning the top button never felt so worth it. Thin crust, New York style pizza consistently voted as some of the best pizza in town (you know, by all the “experts”). And it’s not just the pizza that gets the rave reviews; the garlic knots make a strong case for throwing good breath to the wind and carb loading even before the pizza comes.
When we polled other parents about places they love to take their kids, Pastaria came up often and emphatically. You love it, kids love, everyone's happy. The restaurant's active energy (read: noise levels) help mute any tantrums, but with lots of fun stuff to look at and eat, it's a no-brainer. Their kids menu is always a winner, but there's plenty of stuff on the regular menu they'll love too.
They smoke a pig every day on the property, that's good for at least five minutes of a viewing distraction for an impending meltdown. Other things we love about Martin's are the family friendly atmosphere and the abundance of fellow families. You can all drink your beer in solidarity while heading to the bathroom for the third time this trip.
With lines that can reach nearly out into the street, Bobbie’s customers clamor for undeniably fascinating milkshake options. Shakes with names like the Elvis, the Monster, and more all serve as appropriate descriptors for the shakes they represent. Guests not feeling a shake can have dipped ice-cream cones and choose from a full menu of diner-style food
A great burger and long lines--rain or shine, winter or warm, those are the two things you can always count on at The Pharmacy. Plan your visit well to avoid an hour (or longer) wait and indulge on one of the most buzzed about burgers in town. Kids will love the food, plus the outdoor bier garden lets them run around until the pass out.

Some places just make you feel cool, Pinewood social is one of those places. Maybe it’s the retro vibe with the indoor bowling lanes or the fact you feel like an extra in the movie Swingers. Either way, the self described social gathering place is indeed a great place to meet. This industrial space has something for everyone, you’ll find a coffee shop, restaurant, co-working space, bowling alley, a karaoke room, bocce ball courts, ping-pong tables and two swimming pools. Your kids will LOVE IT.
