Famous Local Guide

Kolten & Alissa Wong

Hawaiian import Kolten Wong has been a core member of the hometown Redbirds since the 2013 season. He and his wife Alissa got married last fall after meeting at the University of Hawaii. Exploring St. Louis has become a passion for the both of them. They have given Olio City all the deets on their favorite places in the Gateway City along with cluing us in on some of their work away from the ballpark as well. The Wongs have left their mark in the community by volunteering their time to a number of local causes. You might say kicking cancer's butt is near and dear to Kolten, who lost his mom to the disease two years ago. They served as Honorary Co-Chairs of the 2016 Komen Greater St. Louis Race for the Cure and co-hosted the annual K cancer cornhole event this past May. To get more involved and join forces with the Wong's to help fight cancer locally, please check out the events page on the K cancer website or cardinalscare.com.
